A Day of Yoga, Ayurveda, Nutrition &

Natural Beauty to Inspire You This January

Sunday, 26th January 2020 9.30am - 5pm


According to Ayurveda, January is not the time to detox, nurture is still required so that we are prepared for cleansing in Spring. This day will do just that!

After a welcoming cuppa, Hazel (www.thesamadhicentre.com) will welcome you with a slow flow Hatha Yoga class. Throughout the day Ciara and Hazel will include nutrition talks and practical tips on how to support digestion, energy levels & hormonal balance while preparing the body for a spring clean.

We will encourage time for quiet and inspiration on the unspoiled lands of Slí na Bandé (only 44km - 35 minutes from Dublin). Following this you can sit back and relax in the cosy coffeehouse where we will serve you a nurturing vegetarian lunch by Nutritionist and Natural Chef, Nicky Halliday ( https://www.nickyhalliday.com/ )  
To wrap up Hazel will lead a yoga nidra class to allow the body and mind to open in a nurturing and relaxing way. Leaving you refreshed, nourished and inspired to take on the new year.

The Day Will Include:

09:30 - 10:00: Welcome Tea & Coffee at the Coffeehouse; A warm welcoming cuppa to meet your hosts, Ciara & Hazel, and those whom you will be spending the day with.

10:00 - 11:15: Slow Flow Hatha Yoga with Hazel; Settle in and warm up in the yoga room which is immersed in the woodlands of Slí na Bandé
11:15 - 11:30: Tea & Coffee is served with some healthy vegetarian snacks in preparation for our first nutrition chat

11:30 - 12.30: Learn which foods are nourishing for winter time and best for supporting healthy digestion. In Ayurvedic medicine, certain foods are beneficial at certain times of the year, we explore practical ideas and tips for restoring balance following the festive season.

12:30 - 13:30: Turning Inwards & Wrap up Warm! Before lunch we return to the yoga room and guide you with some breath work and quiet time. Coming out of the darkest time of winter we have an opportunity to reflect, renew and regenerate - the natural pull is inwards, letting go of the outside world. Following this we encourage you to draw on inspiration from the unspoiled gardens of Slí na Bandé - bring some warm clothes to put on so that you can enjoy the gardens regardless of the weather.
13.30 - 14.15: Breaking Silence & Bread: Come back together at the Coffeehouse to share a nourishing and warming vegetarian lunch, which is prepared by Nicky.
14.15 - 15:45: Nutrition for Energy & Hormonal Balance; Ciara will provide nutrition chat and practical tips on foods that are supportive of energy levels and hormonal balance. There will also be some delicious treats and herbal teas towards the end
15:45 - 17.00: Rest & Digest with Yoga Nidra by Hazel;  Restorative yoga allowing your body and mind to open in a nurturing and relaxing way, offering  a healing and recuperative experience. The perfect closing  to the day with yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep - allow your mind to quieten and your attention to move deep within. 

Let's move to the rhythm of our own bodies which are intrinsically connected to nature and learn to listen to what they need

You will not be leaving empty handed as we give you a farewell goodie bag to thank you for coming along !
